Leading health related activities
The course will give provide detailed information and understanding of what it takes to become an activitiy leader within the sports and fitness environments. It will cover areas of active and healthy lifestyles, the components of physical fitness linking to overall health and well being, nutrition, safeguarding, practical session planning, session delivery and self evaluation. The contents are assessed through a series of workbook activities and a practical observation. The blended learning approach is supported by online tutor sessions and practical face to face support. Full completion of the course will lead to a national health and fitness industry recognised Level 2 qualification and hopefully give you the confidence to lead activities within the context of your sport and provide positive and knowledgable support to your own participants.
